J. Bennett is the VP of Operations and Corporate Development at Signifyd, where he leads a global cross-functional team to deliver on Signifyd’s guaranteed value proposition and explore, design and execute new opportunities in the payments, risk, and ecommerce spaces. He previously served as Signifyd’s Chief of Staff while it scaled from 100 to 250 employees and more than doubled its revenue.
Prior to joining Signifyd, Bennett practiced law at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and advised clients–including Signifyd–ranging in size and sophistication from newly incorporated ventures to Alphabet through rapid growth cycles and corporate transactions, including more than $1B in public and private fundraising or investments and more than $15B in acquisition or divestiture of assets. In prior professional lives, he founded and closed a machine learning ed-tech startup, taught special education math in the Bronx, and had a film accepted to the Rome International Film Festival.
