Bill Mines

Bill joined Walmart in October 2014 and is currently the Senior Vice President Finance & Strategy, Supply Chain, Walmart US. Bill is responsible for Financial Planning and Analysis and Decision Support for a network of over 150 distribution centers and transportation, including both the private fleet and third party carriers.

Bill came to Walmart from Diageo plc., where he served in various senior executive roles, including Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, Global Duty Free and Middle East; Senior Vice President of Supply Chain, North America; Senior Vice President of Finance, Americas Supply; Vice President of Finance, Decision Support; and Vice President of Business Risk and Audit.

Prior to his extensive career with Diageo, Bill also held senior leadership roles with PepsiCo, Cargill and Deloitte.

Bill and his wife, Jennifer, have four sons.

Jackie Guan
Sr. Director of Supply Chain
Walmart

Jackie Guan is Sr. Director of Supply Chain. She leads the Data and Analytics team for the US Supply Chain Organization, and she has responsibility for areas of Data Governance and Advanced Analytics and Visualization.

Jackie joined Walmart in 2009 as a strategy manager and provided strategic planning support for Walmart retail technology area. In 2010, she assumed strategy manager role for the Technology Innovations Team and took on the responsibility for the Innovation Lab, IT competitive intelligence and cultivating innovation across the technology division. In 2012, she joined Global Business Process as Director of Strategy & Analytics and led the development and adoption of workforce management and sales forecasting solutions across all Walmart markets. In 2014, she was promoted to Sr. Director of Global Store Analytics, responsible for developing retail analytics products across Retail Operations, which includes Store Operations, Workforce Management, Replenishment and Health & Wellness Operations. In 2017, she assumed Sr. Director of International Workforce Management Acceleration Team. She was worked across the Walmart international markets to understand current-state, develop best practices and align on processes and tools to accelerate the WFM capabilities in all the international markets.

Prior to joining Walmart, Jackie worked at P&G in Cincinnati as a project manager then systems manager. After receiving her MBA degree, she worked as a strategy manager with responsibilities in business strategies and then product management with Cerner Corporation in Kansas City.

Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Information System from Iowa State University and a MBA from University of Chicago.

Juan Gomez
Sr. Director, Supply Chain Finance

Juan Gomez is the Senior Director of Supply Chain Finance. In his role he is responsible for the Cost to Serve Program and Product ownership. He joined Wal-Mart 4 years ago and relocated to the Bentonville area with his wife and two kids from Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to joining Wal-Mart, he worked for 10 years for The Home Depot in increasing roles of responsibility within the Finance organization including Corporate Finance, Supply Chain Finance, and Merchandising Finance (Hardlines). Previous to that, he worked at a small eCommerce startup in the Government software sector.

He received his undergraduate degree in management from the Georgia Institute of Technology and his MBA from Emory University with specializations in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
Juan is passionate about leadership development, technology, and data, trying to leverage his skills to the benefit of his team. Outside of work, he is an avid runner and outdoor enthusiast having completed multiple ultra-marathons, marathons, and long-distance triathlons.
