Massimo Sapone, Luxottica’s North America leader of Planning and Logistics, cultivates an abundance of international experience in global operations. Passionate about delivering best-in-class quality and service, Massimo believes that these factors are fundamental in ensuring he provides the customer with product of the highest quality to continue to grow the business as leader in the industry.

Before devoting his work full-time to Luxottica, Massimo’s leadership career began in his former global role as VP Distribution, Logistics and IT in Europe for companies like LG, Geodis and Haier. In his past eight years with Luxottica, Massimo has been appointed to head Director positions in the Group’s global Logistics facilities in EMEA, Brazil and Latin America. He takes his extensive Operations knowledge in product excellence, superior service and innovation into his current role where he leads a team of 1,500 employees in McDonough, Georgia at Luxottica’s Atlanta Service Center – the Company’s largest operations facility in North America.

Massimo holds a law degree from the University of Catania, Master’s Degrees in Transportation and Economics, and workshops done in top international business schools such as SDA Bocconi and Fundacao Getulio Vargas.
