Michelle Williamson is the Vice President of People and Culture for Levi Strauss & Co. She partners with the business to deliver people solutions that meet the company’s needs, engage employees, and make LS&Co. a great place to work. Specifically, Williamson is responsible for talent acquisition, learning and development, employee engagement and leadership development. She is a member of the company’s Global HR Leadership team.
She is a seasoned HR leader with more than 15 years of experience in the retail sector, having spent her early career with Gap Inc. Williamson has deep experience across HR disciplines, including HR Business Partnering, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
Passionate about finding the best talent and providing a great employee experience, Williamson has held her current role since 2014. She brings a transformational mindset to leading and developing the company’s People & Culture function to drive positive cultural change while enhancing individual and collective performance. Williamson’s team has introduced innovative tools for managing and engaging employees, resulting in high levels of engagement and low levels of regrettable turnover.
Williamson holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of San Diego. She’s a lifelong Californian who lives in the Bay Area with her family.
