Previous roles at Merck include Vice President & CFO for the Manufacturing Division and Associate Vice President for various finance functions, where responsibilities spanned across manufacturing, marketing, and financial leadership for the Organon spin. Specifically, Melissa previously served as Regional CFO for the Company’s business in Europe and Canada and Finance Lead for the UK & Ireland. Melissa holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Rutgers University.

Mandy has 25+ years of financial and managerial accounting experience in a variety of industries including manufacturing, construction, information technology, higher education and client services. She holds her MBA in Organizational Leadership and Development from Tiffin University and a Bachelor’s in Financial Accounting from the University of Findlay. Additionally, she is a licensed Mortgage Lending Officer and a HUD Certified Housing Counselor.

C. Greg Guyer, Ph.D, joined BioMarin in May 2020 and currently serves as Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Technical Operations, responsible for overseeing our manufacturing, process development, quality, supply chain, engineering and analytical chemistry departments. From 2015 to 2019, Dr. Guyer served in a number of increasingly responsible positions at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), primarily leading all of operations and biologic development. Prior to BMS, Dr. Guyer worked for Merck & Co., Inc., from 1994 to 2015, leading various global organizations in biologic and pharmaceutical operations, quality, regulatory, emerging markets strategy and enterprise systems. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Georgia Research Foundation.

Dr. Guyer earned his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from American University, Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Georgia and Master of Business Administration degree from Lehigh University

Having started his career as the Flavors & Seasonings Buyer in 2002, Mike has held an assortment of Sourcing roles that extend across ingredients, packaging, dairy, and numerous stops in commodities risk management. During his career, Mike has also spent time in North America Manufacturing (New Albany, Indiana), within the External Supply Chain, and worked internationally in Switzerland for nearly three years at the inception of the Global Sourcing Center.

Mike holds an undergraduate degree in business from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife Kelly live in Edina, MN with their two children: Taylor (7) and Hudson (4). In his free time, Mike enjoys outdoor sports, gaming, grilling for family & friends, and lots of time with his littles at the neighborhood park!
