Gayle started in 3M’s corporate laboratory as a product development engineer and has over 30 years of technical and business leadership experience. Her career spans a broad range of businesses from electronics to healthcare to consumer industries. She has led technical and business teams from around the world including Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America.

Gayle’s previous assignments include Vice President of New Platforms for Growth and Commercialization, Directora General for 3M Mexico, and Vice President of Research & Development and Design for 3M’s Consumer and Office Business.

She is passionate about making a positive impact in the world through science and technology.

Innovative Approaches to Resiliency and Circularity

James Gowen is Sr. Vice President, Global Sourcing and Supply Chain, and Chief Sustainability Officer for Verizon. Since taking on the complementary roles of Supply Chain and Sustainability in 2009, his team has enlisted more than 65,000 Verizon employees in 50 countries around the globe in helping to reduce the company’s environmental footprint while increasing the efficiency of a growing enterprise.

Gowen is deeply involved in the advancement of innovative and sustainable technologies and spearheaded the launch of Verizon’s first ever green bond in 2019. Since then, Gowen has been instrumental in Verizon issuing five additional $1 billion green bonds with the net proceeds allocated toward renewable energy investments to accelerate the transition to greener electrical grids across the U.S. As one of the leading corporate buyers of U.S. renewable energy, Verizon has over 3.6 gigawatts of anticipated renewable energy capacity under contact and 37.6 megawatts of on-site green energy generation in operation at our facilities. Gowen oversees other green initiatives including setting Verizon’s approved science based emissions reduction targets, committing to operational net zero emissions, expanding recycling and waste reduction, and management of end-of-life-cycle material recovery.

In his supply chain and sourcing role, Gowen leads all inventory planning, logistics operations and sourcing globally. Gowen is responsible for the planning of over $35B of inventory and $70B of sourcing spend across all Verizon’s lines of business. Additionally, Gowen has responsibility for procurement, warehousing, transportation, quality, returns and end-of-life monetization.

In 2015, Gowen spearheaded the start-up of Verizon Services Ireland Limited in Dublin, Ireland. He was responsible for transitioning $15B in annual spend for strategic sourcing of Verizon’s Network and IT operations. Over 85 industry professionals were hired and a state-of-the-art center of excellence was built under Gowen’s leadership in less than 7 months.

Having held several positions of increasing levels of responsibility at Verizon, Gowen was the lead architect of the company’s supply chain strategy and led the strategic shift from a fixed to a variable inventory business model. While in corporate sourcing, he led the implementation of Verizon’s eProcurement effort, and the standardization of Verizon’s supply chain systems.

Gowen earned his master’s degree in business administration from Long Island University and his bachelor’s degree from Manhattanville College. He is a member of Penn State University’s Smeal Sustainability Advisory Board. He is also the current Chairman of GeSI (Global eSustainability based out of Brussels), and a board member of the MIT Climate and Sustainability Consortium. Gowen is located at Verizon Center in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.

Ray Reddrick is Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Distillation for Diageo North America. Diageo has an outstanding collection of more than 200 brands making the organization a global leader in the beverage alcohol industry. Jonnie Walker, Crown Royal, Bulleit, Smirnoff, Cîroc, Ketel One, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray, and Guinness represent a sample of the consumer products reach Diageo has across more than 180 countries.

Mr. Reddrick has developed a diverse background across several industries in the manufacturing and CPG supply space. Prior to joining Diageo in January of 2023, Mr. Reddrick consulted supporting Diageo’s strategic growth strategy for their domestic and international business. Mr. Reddrick has held supply chain leadership roles with Heartland Coca-Cola as the Vice President of Supply Chain where he played a critical leadership role in the total enterprise start-up of a new $700 million dollar Coca-Cola beverage manufacturing and distribution franchise business. Additionally, Ray has held critical supply chain leadership roles as director of manufacturing for PepsiCo, Land O’ Lakes, Data replication leadership with Sony where he executed the manufacturing acceptance testing for Sony’s Play Station format and the manufacturing liaison for Harmon Motive a tier one supplier of high-end transducers branded as JBL, infinity and Harmon Kardon. The Harmon Kardon premium products were specially engineered for Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Land Rover, Toyota, GM, and Fords high end product offerings installed at site automotive assembly locations across the US and Canada. Mr. Reddrick has over 30 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience transforming supply networks to deliver world-class businesses and operations results throughout his career.

Sarvi Bajwa is the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing for Danone, North America. Danone is a multi national food products corporation based in Paris, with well known brands in our markets such as Danon, Oikos, Activia, Danimals, Silk, and International Delight.

Prior to Danone, Sarvi was with Coca Cola North America as a Vice President of Supply Chain, responsible for operations in US and Canada for Juice, Dairy, Hydration, and Food Service. During his time with Coca Cola, Sarvi was also a champion of gender diversity initiatives in supply chain, becoming the founder and sponsor of “WE RISE” (Women Elevated Results in Success for Everyone).

Before Coca Cola, Sarvi held various manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics assignments with consumer products companies such as Procter and Gamble, Avon, and Alberto Culver, in Texas, Maryland, and Delaware. Through out his career, he built a reputation of turning around underperforming operations into high performing organizations by building strong teams, developing future leaders, creating a culture of winning, and chalking out strategies that provided competitive advantage to the organization and the enterprise.

Sarvi has Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Houston, and an MBA in Marketing from Loyola University in Maryland. He has also completed a Supply Chain management and leadership certification from the Georgia Tech.

Sarvi and his wife Sonya reside in Columbia, Maryland. They have two children. Raj, who is a graduate of University of Maryland, and University of Texas, also lives in Maryland and is in the investment field for a large commercial and retail banking services company. Their daughter, Sameena is a graduate of Boston University, and is a software engineer for global event management company.

Mike is currently in the role of Vice President of Supply Chain, Snacks Operating Unit. In this role, Mike is responsible for leading strategies & developing plans in conjunction with Operating Unit & SC Pillar partners to deliver volume, sales, and profit targets. Having started his career as the Flavors & Seasonings Buyer in 2002, Mike has held an assortment of Sourcing roles that extend across ingredients, packaging, dairy, and numerous stops in commodities risk management. During his career, Mike has also spent time in North America Manufacturing (New Albany, Indiana), within the External Supply Chain, and worked internationally in Switzerland for nearly three years at the inception of the Global Sourcing Center.

Mike holds an undergraduate degree in business from the University of St. Thomas and an MBA from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. He and his wife Kelly live in Edina, MN with their two children: Taylor (7) and Hudson (4). In his free time, Mike enjoys outdoor sports, gaming, grilling for family & friends, and lots of time with his littles at the neighborhood park!

He is currently responsible for formulating and implementing strategic plans for all Food Safety and Quality initiatives across the entire product portfolio ( Snacks, beverages, Dairy, Bread and meat snacks in over 1300 company-owned and third-party manufacturing sites around the globe.

With deep-rooted knowledge across product categories and differing regulatory and cultural environments, he plays a pivotal role in establishing rigorous standards and systems. He has shared countless lessons learned during his career. Jeffrey Tazelaar is the Global ISC Innovation Director leading the Digital Fulfillment Center team at Dow. In this role he leads a group of innovation experts located in a world class digital center on the next generation of technologies, processes and organization alignment that will drive best in class customer and employee experience across Demand Planning to Fulfill.

Prior to this role Jeff was in Enterprise Architecture and Global Leader in SC Visibility where he set the strategy and global technology standards for visibility, track, trace and authentication technologies associated with Dow’s global Supply Chain.

Jeff has vast experience in software solutions and AutoID/RFID systems through work experience ranging from the largest retailer to systems integrators deploying solutions for the Department of Defense, CPG, Automotive and Food value chain participants. In these roles he managed the design and development of complete visibility solutions for Fortune 500 companies and various government agencies to fully realize the benefits of technology.

Mr. Tazelaar holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science Degrees in Packaging from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. He also studied overseas at the University of London, where he analyzed and contrasted the British/European and United States packaging systems. He has completed coursework for his Ph.D. in Packaging from MSU with a focus on the measurement and justification of corporate digital programs with a current status of ABD.

Reginaldo has a rich history at Unilever spanning over 30 years with extensive supply chain experience in both developed and emerging markets.

After graduating from Universidade de Sao Paulo as an electrical engineer, Reginaldo started his journey at Unilever Brazil as a trainee in 1991. Just two years later, he was responsible for building a new factory and the production of a new category – powder detergents.

Since then, through leadership positions across Unilever’s supply chain in North America, Latin America and Central America, Reginaldo has been at the forefront of transforming our supply chains, ensuring they are future-fit.

In his most recent role, Reginaldo served as Executive Vice President of Unilever Mexico, Central America and Greater Caribbean overseeing 11 countries, 12 product categories and high levels of growth despite the pandemic. Before this he oversaw our supply chain in North America and Latin America, generating double digit growth in the profitability of one of our largest regions.

Vineet is passionate about development and poverty redressal, human rights, sustainability and reducing inequalities. Vineet’s leadership as the co-chair of the Sustainable Supply Chain Initiative (SSCI) of the Consumer Goods Forum and his work as a key member of The Future Insights Network’s Coalition demonstrate his passion for driving sustainability, re-defining the role of business in the society, and developing supply chain profession to its full potential.
