With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Gerrit Spengler is known for his work as an expert in the fields of human resources, organization design, strategy & transformation, and general management. Gerrit has worked for 14 years within Volkswagen Group and presently serves as Chief Human Resources Officer for Volkswagen Group of America & Volkswagen North American Region. Over his career, his work has taken him across three countries (Germany, Russia, United States). Prior to his current role, he served as CEO and General Director for Volkswagen Group Russia. He has also held HR leadership positions at both Volkswagen Group Russia and Volkswagen AG. Before joining Volkswagen, he worked for BMW, Mercer, Oliver Wyman, and MAN Truck & Bus. Gerrit holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration – Organization & Strategy from Technische Universität Chemnitz and a M.S. in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.

I have over 20 years of experience in the Coca-Cola system, spanning sales, operations, and HR roles.

My core competencies include people management and development. strategic thinking, price package architecture, sales and operations. I am passionate about developing and empowering talent, fostering a culture of excellence and diversity, and delivering value to our customers and stakeholders. Some of my achievements include leading the HR integration of multiple acquisitions, creating and implementing a new performance management system, and winning the Top Women in Grocery award in 2016.

Dumi Martinez is the CFO of Mars Global Services (MGS), the global business services division of Mars, Incorporated. As CFO, Dumi oversees all strategic financial initiatives across Mars, including integration services, global portfolio management, and business development. His leadership is instrumental in actualizing the MGS OGSM and the success of the MGS finance team and its business partners. Dumi started his career at Mars in 2020 as the CFO of KIND and subsequently assumed the role of Global CFO, Health and Wellness, overseeing finance and strategy of this new division within Mars Snacking, which, under his leadership, reached $1.1 billion in sales across North America, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia in 2022. During his tenure, Dumi played a pivotal role in the integration of acquisitions such as KIND North America, Nature’s Bakery, and TrüFrü. Before joining Mars, he served as the CFO for Essity’s Professional Hygiene and Americas business units. Dumi earned his degrees in international management from Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management and Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. Dumi is passionate about spending time with his family, coaching and mentorship, and travel. To date, he’s traveled to 67 countries (and counting)!

Leading a Technical Organization Through Uncertainty

C. Greg Guyer, Ph.D, joined BioMarin in May 2020 and currently serves as Chief Technical Officer and Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing and Technical Operations, responsible for overseeing our manufacturing, process development, quality, supply chain, engineering and analytical chemistry departments. From 2015 to 2019, Dr. Guyer served in a number of increasingly responsible positions at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), primarily leading all of operations and biologic development. Prior to BMS, Dr. Guyer worked for Merck & Co., Inc., from 1994 to 2015, leading various global organizations in biologic and pharmaceutical operations, quality, regulatory, emerging markets strategy and enterprise systems. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Georgia Research Foundation.

Dr. Guyer earned his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from American University, Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from the University of Georgia and Master of Business Administration degree from Lehigh University

Before joining PMI, Alpesh was a Partner at McKinsey and Co., where he set up and led the transformation practice in India. With corporate clients across India, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, Alpesh shaped the organizational journeys of several global enterprises. His knowledge in driving enterprise-wide change is well recognized externally. A thought leader for Operations, Alpesh is able to shape strategic initiatives while supporting the implementation of Business Excellence and Capability building. Prior to joining McKinsey, Alpesh was a software engineer at Cisco.

Alpesh holds a Masters Business Administration degree from the India Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor degree (Engineering), from the Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi.
