Jerry Murry, is Senior Vice President of Process Development at Amgen. Jerry started his career at Amgen in 2006 as Executive Director, Process Development within the Translational Sciences organization in R&D, and was promoted to Vice President, Process Development in 2010. In 2012, Jerry joined the Amgen Full Potential Transformation team as lead of the initiative “Transforming Process Development at Amgen”(AFP3).

In 2014, as part of the integration and reorganization of a new single, global process development team, Jerry was named the head of CMC Lifecycle management with responsibility for Operations Commercialization activities including regulatory filings and launches.

In 2016, Jerry became head of Drug Product Technologies with responsibility for all formulation and product and process development.
In 2018, Jerry was promoted to Senior Vice President Process Development at Amgen with responsibilities for all global Process Development activities.

Prior to joining Amgen, Jerry spent 8 years at Pfizer Central Research and 6 years at Merck Research Laboratories in Process Development.

Jerry earned BA/BS in Biology and Chemistry at Texas Lutheran University, a PhD in Chemistry from University of Utah and was an NIGMS NIH Fellow at Harvard University.

Mahir is a Master in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and currently is a Vice President at PepsiCo leading Global FSQA (Food Safety and Quality Assurance) Organization based in New York.

Mahir has four years of work experience in Unilever, India and then 28+ years of experience with PepsiCo. He has worked in Supply chain operations, EHS (Environment , Health and Safety) , R&D, Digitization and most of all in Food Safety and Quality Assurance across three continents – India, Dubai and USA. He is currently responsible for formulating and implementing strategic plans for all Food Safety and Quality initiatives across the entire product portfolio ( Snacks, beverages, Dairy, Bread and meat snacks in over 1300 company-owned and third-party manufacturing sites around the globe.

With deep-rooted knowledge across product categories and differing regulatory and cultural environments, he plays a pivotal role in establishing rigorous standards and systems. He has shared countless lessons learned during his career. His innovative approaches ensure that PepsiCo consistently delivers products that not only meet stringent safety guidelines but also resonate with consumer expectations and satisfaction. The Future of Supply Chain Operations

Biswaranjan Sen is a Chemical Engineer by training. He joined Unilever in 1991 and has worked in R&D and across various parts of the Supply Chain including manufacturing, planning, logistics, customer service and procurement. He was a member of the Board of Directors of Unilever Indonesia with responsibility for the Supply Chain between 2009 and 2012.

Following his subsequent roles as Vice President Procurement Chemicals and Vice President Group Supply Chain Personal Care, he became an Executive Vice President in Unilever in May 2017.

His current role covers responsibility for the Beauty and Personal Care Supply Chain, Planning and Engineering. He also leads the Supply Chain Transformation team.

Bish has worked across the world and is currently based in London, UK.

Leveraging Adaptive Planning for Agile Supply Chain Management

Thomas J. Goldsby is the Dee and Jimmy Haslam Chair in Logistics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Haslam College of Business. He is also the co-executive director of the Global Supply Chain Institute. He holds a bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Evansville, an MBA from the University of Kentucky and a doctorate in marketing and logistics from Michigan State University.

Goldsby serves as co-executive director of the Global Supply Chain Institute. He is a former co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Business Logistics and Transportation Journal. His research interests include logistics strategy, supply chain integration and the theory and practice of lean and agile supply chain strategies. He has published more than 90 articles in academic and professional journals and is a frequent speaker at academic conferences, executive education seminars and professional meetings.

Goldsby is co-author of five books: Logistics Management: Enhancing Competitiveness and Customer Value, The Definitive Guide to Transportation, Global Macrotrends and Their Impact on Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma Logistics: Strategic Development to Operational Success ( and The Design and Management of Sustainable Supply Chains.

A recipient of multiple best paper awards, Goldsby has been recognized for excellence in teaching at UT, The Ohio State University, the University of Kentucky and Iowa State University. In 2019, he was named a Rainmaker by DC Velocity and received the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award from Supply Chain Leaders in Action (SCLA). Goldsby delivered a course on business operations for The Great Courses’ Critical Business Skills series in 2015, which continues to rate as a bestselling nonfiction/business title at Audible.com and was ranked by Newsweek as No. 27 on its list of Top 50 bestsellers (#27) among all audiobooks for summer 2020.

Goldsby has supervised more than 100 Lean/Six Sigma supply chain projects with industry partners, chaired eight doctoral dissertations and served as an investigator on multiple federally funded research projects exceeding $3.5 million in grant proceeds.

After graduating from Universidade de Sao Paulo as an electrical engineer, Reginaldo started his journey at Unilever Brazil as a trainee in 1991. Just two years later, he was responsible for building a new factory and the production of a new category – powder detergents.

Since then, through leadership positions across Unilever’s supply chain in North America, Latin America and Central America, Reginaldo has been at the forefront of transforming our supply chains, ensuring they are future-fit.

In his most recent role, Reginaldo served as Executive Vice President of Unilever Mexico, Central America and Greater Caribbean overseeing 11 countries, 12 product categories and high levels of growth despite the pandemic. Before this he oversaw our supply chain in North America and Latin America, generating double digit growth in the profitability of one of our largest regions.
