Building a Sustainable Smoke-Free Future

Alpesh Chaddha, Vice President Global Operations Strategy & Excellence at Philip Morris International, has deep experience in the areas of strategy development and implementation for Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales, achieving robust and sustainable business transformation.

At PMI, Alpesh leads the mid-to-long-term strategy development and implementation focusing on transformational activities which accelerate PMI’s journey to a smoke-free future. Along with the strong focus on business Strategy, within Alpesh’s remit also lies Industrial Strategy, End2End Agility, Digital and Analytics, and Business Excellence.

The work of Alpesh and his team spans beyond Operations – connecting, influencing, and working with all of PMI’s functions and the markets. He and his team are modeling a cross- functional, horizontal way of working towards achieving shared goals which is new to the company.

Before joining PMI, Alpesh was a Partner at McKinsey and Co., where he set up and led the transformation practice in India. With corporate clients across India, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia, Alpesh shaped the organizational journeys of several global enterprises. His knowledge in driving enterprise-wide change is well recognized externally. A thought leader for Operations, Alpesh is able to shape strategic initiatives while supporting the implementation of Business Excellence and Capability building. Prior to joining McKinsey, Alpesh was a software engineer at Cisco.

Alpesh holds a Masters Business Administration degree from the India Institute of Management, Calcutta and a Bachelor degree (Engineering), from the Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi.

Ms. De Caro has a track record of more than 30 years of leadership in areas such as engineering, manufacturing, M&A and supply chain at a number of fast-moving consumer goods companies like Procter & Gamble, Unilever and Mondelez. Ms. De Caro holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Sapienza University of Rome and is an avid supporter of diversity and inclusion.

Ray Reddrick is Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Distillation for Diageo North America. Diageo has an outstanding collection of more than 200 brands making the organization a global leader in the beverage alcohol industry. Jonnie Walker, Crown Royal, Bulleit, Smirnoff, Cîroc, Ketel One, Captain Morgan, Baileys, Don Julio, Tanqueray, and Guinness represent a sample of the consumer products reach Diageo has across more than 180 countries.

Mr. Reddrick has developed a diverse background across several industries in the manufacturing and CPG supply space. Prior to joining Diageo in January of 2023, Mr. Reddrick consulted supporting Diageo’s strategic growth strategy for their domestic and international business. Mr. Reddrick has held supply chain leadership roles with Heartland Coca-Cola as the Vice President of Supply Chain where he played a critical leadership role in the total enterprise start-up of a new $700 million dollar Coca-Cola beverage manufacturing and distribution franchise business. Additionally, Ray has held critical supply chain leadership roles as director of manufacturing for PepsiCo, Land O’ Lakes, Data replication leadership with Sony where he executed the manufacturing acceptance testing for Sony’s Play Station format and the manufacturing liaison for Harmon Motive a tier one supplier of high-end transducers branded as JBL, infinity and Harmon Kardon. The Harmon Kardon premium products were specially engineered for Mercedes Benz, Nissan, Land Rover, Toyota, GM, and Fords high end product offerings installed at site automotive assembly locations across the US and Canada. Mr. Reddrick has over 30 years of manufacturing and supply chain experience transforming supply networks to deliver world-class businesses and operations results throughout his career.

Patricia Covington currently serves as the Executive Director of Global Integrated Aftermarket Supply Chain for Cummins, Inc. Over her 26-year career at Cummins, Patricia has effectively led and supported various parts of the business across multiple functions including Planning, Marketing and Operations.

Grounded in Planning and Logistics, Patricia is a key global leader for Cummins. With a successful track record in Integrated Supply Chain, Patricia shares her career journey as an example for underrepresented employees to know they can flourish in and contribute to building and nurturing the right environment. Over her career, Patricia has effectively contributed to leading and supporting various parts of the business across multiple functions remaining focused on attracting and cultivating the best and most diverse talent. She continues to focus on recruiting and developing talent in and outside of the Supply Chain field currently serving as the executive leader for Memphis chapter of the Cummins Black Network and engagement lead for the Howard University Supply Chain Centers of Excellence Advisory Board.

Patricia obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Memphis, a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University, and an Executive MBA in Global Supply Chain from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Patricia is passionate about giving back to the community through volunteering and supporting the less fortunate and youth. With the commitment of serving others, Patricia has served on the Board of Trustees for LeMoyne-Owen College and the University of Memphis’ Multi-cultural Affairs Advisory Board. She has spent a great deal of time working with other organizations such as the Juvenile Intervention and Faith-Based Follow Up (JIFF) as well as the One Step Initiative which is a non-profit organization focusing on education beyond borders aiming to bring global education opportunities to the nation’s most underserved high school students. She also holds a seat on the Memphis Area Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Circle continuing to support opportunities in and around the Memphis, TN area.

Patricia is also a 28-year member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. currently serving in the Shelby County (TN) Alumnae Chapter.
